Domingo 3 al viernes 8 de abril
Con el objetivo de fortalecer la producción alternativa frente al avance del agronegocio, inició el domingo 03 de abril, en Asunción, Paraguay, el intercambio de experiencias entre representantes de organizaciones sociales de Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Paraguay y Francia, en el marco del Programa Mercosur Social y Solidario, y con el apoyo de CCFD –Terre Solidaire.
Durante el intercambio, los y las participantes compartirán sus experiencias territoriales, nacionales y regionales, desde la perspectiva de la soberanía y seguridad alimentaria, con énfasis en la producción agroecológica. Se debatirá sobre el derecho a la alimentación y los desafíos de la vigencia de políticas públicas de apoyo a la sostenibilidad de los procesos de producción agroecológica.
Como parte de las actividades, se tienen previstas visitas en el departamento de Caaguazú donde los y las participantes podrán conocer y compartir experiencias con las familias de las comunidades de la organización Coordinadora de Organizaciones Sociales de Repatriación (COSOR). En Caaguazú Norte compartirán con la organización OÑONDIVEPA los desafíos y aprendizajes de la comunidad, además de las experiencias de los diferentes comités de productores de la organización. Visitarán también una finca modelo y se reunirán con el comité de mujeres de “Ña Palmira”. En la ciudad de Emboscada visitarán una finca agroecológica donde podrán interiorizarse sobre la producción agroecológica, el mercado existente y los desafíos.
El intercambio finalizará con el seminario “Soberanía Alimentaria y modelos de la agricultura en disputa en el MERCOSUR Y EUROPA. Casos Argentina, Brasil, Paraguay, Chile y Francia”, el viernes 8 de abril, de 18:30 a 21:00 hs., en el Salón Adriano Irala Burgos de la Facultad de Filosofía y Ciencias Humanas de la Universidad Católica.
El PMSS nace en el año 2004 con la impronta de sumar y hacer visible a la sociedad y en particular a los movimientos sociales, como componente estratégico de la integración de los Estados, a partir de la creación del Mercosur.
