La Coordinadora de Centrales Sindicales del Cono Sur, organización que nuclea a 20 centrales sindicales de la región, nos dirigimos al CMC del MERCOSUR, con la intención de manifestar nuestro posicionamiento con relación al traspaso de la Presidencia Pro Tempore del MERCOSUR a la República Bolivariana de Venezuela.
El proceso de traspaso de la Presidencia Pro Tempore del MERCOSUR ha sido establecido y seguido desde la fundación del bloque y siempre ha ocurrido en una dinámica democrática y respetando las reglas de transmisión. Una de las reglas fundamentales es que, una vez que un país ingrese de forma plena al bloque (sea cual sea el nivel de adecuación a la normativa de MERCOSUR), este pasaría a Presidir el bloque en un régimen de rotación por orden alfabético.
